A series of package bombs exploded on Wednesday in the southwest China city of Liuzhou (Guangxi province), killing at least seven people and injuring 51, state media said.
Strange, the series of “unexplained” explosions with very interesting timing in China continues. Reuters reports 13 blasts, RT reports “15 massive blasts”. In July blasts hit chemical plants in the Shandong province of China on the north east coast of the country.
Scuttlebutt is that the U.S. is doing it. Recent reports say that explosions anywhere near the coast are highly suspect.
Here’s what the Chinese State media said:
“The official Xinhua news agency said police had determined the blasts were a “criminal” act and identified the suspect as a 33-year-old local man surnamed Wei, but added the investigation was continuing.
Media images showed a collapsed building, smoke and streets strewn with rubble in Liuzhou in Guangxi region. Two people were missing, state radio said on its microblog.
Bombs were sent to 13 places ranging from hospitals and shopping malls to prisons and government offices, reports said, adding that a terrorist attack had been ruled out.”
Does this area qualify as “near the coast”? Only the military knows for now, but it remains highly suspect until investigators can ferret out the truth. Here is a map of the Guangxi province showing the city hit in today’s blasts, Liuzhou:
RT reports the locations hit included a shopping mall, a prison, a county government office, a supermarket, a transport station, a hospital, a staff dormitory of animal husbandry, a vegetable market, and a disease control center.
Some of these target sites seem suspicious to me. Animal husbandry? Disease control?
The July chemical plant explosions in Shandong province were also on the coast. Map below:
Any sane person shudders at the thought of people killed by their own government. Yet even a cursory study of history plainly reveals it happens rather often in the shadowy political maneuvering of world history.
For believers, we need to pray about all these things and for all of the victims of a sin-filled world. And, though most don’t, we need to pray very much for our own government leaders as well as leaders around the world.
1First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, 2for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. 3This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 6who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony given at the proper time. I Timothy 2:1-6
We watch; we wait; we pray with praise and repentance; we live with joy and peace in the midst of the chaos around us as a testimony to the power of Yeshua, as all these things unfold as they must…eventually. Look up!
